Appointments at PCCS
PCCS takes the opportunity to welcome a new member of staff on board in our Community Transport Department.
A brief introduction from David Lang follows: Hi, my name is Dave Lang, I have joined
PCCS as Transport Co-
My background is 17 years in the Royal Air Force and 21 years at Portsmouth Water Company where, for the last 11 years, I was responsible for their Transport Department.
Although this is a difficult time for transport generally, my team and I are fully committed to making any changes necessary to bring about improvements and efficiencies to benefit our customers as well as PCCS. I look forward to working with everyone and hopefully utilising my past experiences in this new role.
Trustees
PCCS is delighted to announce three new trustees for its board. Adrian Clee joins Paul Emery and Sandra Magnus as trustees on the board of PCCS. Adrian Clee is the Salvation Haven in Portsmouth, Paul Emery is head of charities at Zurich Insurance and Sandra Magnus is Branch Manager for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Chief Executive
Following Ian Piper’s appointment as interim Chief Executive of PCCS, Ian took up the role permanently (on a four day week basis) from May 2008. Ian has lived in Portsmouth for the last 26 years, has been a magistrate, school governor and Chair of Motiv8. Ian brings a wealth of leadership experience from his career in the local NHS and his most recent role as Director of Services for the Alzheimer’s Society in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

PCCS is delighted to announce the appointment of Mik Norman to the post of Deputy Chief Executive and Claire Soal to the post of Finance Officer. These appointments complete the new organisational structure and will enable PCCS to move forward to become the model of excellence that PCCS want it to be.
